Is it OK for Congress to mandate that all Americans must purchase health insurance?
Mon Dec 13, 2010
Article I Sec. 8 states that Congress shall have power to "regulate Commerce...among the several States," not mandate it. Kudos to Hudson.
Wall Street CEOs defend pay practices
Wed Jan 13, 2010
The commission will write the report with the conclusion that the financial crisis was the fault of greedy bankers and mortgage brokers, when it was the fault of greedy people instead. After all, no one is forced to buy a home with money they don't have. It's a choice.
Republicans blast 'bait and switch' health bill
Thu Nov 19, 2009
Did Reid think before he spoke when he said that this bill would save Medicare when it reduces funding to it by $354 billion? Reduce the deficit by $130 billion over 10 years? What a joke! That's only 13 billion a year deficit reduction, which is chump change to the gooberment.

Obama's health care push faces daunting odds
Tue May 12, 2009
Since when is having health insurance a right in this country? Last time I checked it wasn't put into the Constitution. By proposing this type of comprehensive reform, Congress is just asking for trouble.
Senators weigh tax hikes to pay for health care
Tue May 12, 2009
Chalk up one more vote for the entitlement mentality in this nation of crumbling principles and rising moral relativism. If you want insurance, you foot the bill. If you can't, ask anyone but the government for help. It is not a charity.
